Keep your fingers crossed	ภาวนาแต่เรื่องดีๆ	I am keeping my fingers crossed
L	Meaning in Thai	Example
Left in the dark	ถูกปล่อยให้อยู่ใน ความมืนงง	I was left in the dark I did the test
Long time no see	ไม่เจอกันนานนะ	Long time no see
Look on the bright side	มองในด้านดีๆ	You should look on the bright side
Lose face	เสียชื่อเสียง	To lose one’s reputation or standing is to lose face

Nuts and bolts	ส่วนที่สำคัญที่สุด	lofty goals without specifying the nuts and bolts of how they are to be achieved

Off the chart	เกินมาตรฐาน	Basketball’s TV income is already off the charts.
Off the shelf	พร้อมใช้งาน	The product is off the shelf
Oh my goodness!	แสดงความประหลาดใจ	–
On hold	สถานะหยุดไว้	The project is now on hold
On the same page	มีข้อมูลและ ความเข้าใจเดียวกัน	Now, we are on the same page
On the shelf	เสร็จเรียบร้อยแล้ว	The product is on the shelf
on the tip of your tongue	ติดอยู่ที่ริมฝีปาก	I cannot remember now. It is on the tip of my tongue
Once in a blue moon	นานๆ ครั้ง ไม่ค่อยจะเกิดขึ้น	My sister lives in Alaska, so I only get to see her once in a blue moon.
Out of hand	นอกเหนือความควบคุม	The issue is getting out of my hand
out of your mind	ไร้สติ	Are you out of your mind?
Over and over	ครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า	Bad language can lose its effect when it’s used over and over.

Game plan	กลยุทธ์	It is our game plan
Get away with murder	ทำผิดแล้วรอดไปได้	you may get away with nurder
Get it off your chest	เปิดอกคุย	He can get something off his chest
Get off the ground	เพิ่งเริ่มต้น	A project has got off the ground
get on your nerves	ทำให้รำคาญใจ	The traffic gets on my nerves
get the ball rolling	กระตุ้นหรือ เร่งกระบวนการ	I need to get the ball rolling
get the green light	ได้รับอนุญาติ, ไฟเขียว	you must get the green light before the project can start
get your feet wet	ได้รับปประสบการณ์ใหม่ๆ	If you get your feet wet, you gain your first experience of something.
get your head around something	พยายามที่จะเข้าใจมัน	I am getting my head around that idea.

In the loop	ได้รับการแจ้งตลอดเวลา	If you’re in the loop, you are fully informed about what is happening in a certain area or activity.
In the same boat	เรือลำเดียวกัน	If people are in the same boat, they are in the same predicament or trouble.
In your blood	อยู่ในสายเลือด	It is in my blood
It ain’t over till the fat lady sings	สรุปอะไรไม่ได้หรอก ต้องรอจนจบ	This idiom means that until something has officially finished, the result is uncertain.
